When he was asked, once, how many cars he owned, Jerry replied:

It’s not a number that, when you hear it, you go ‘That makes sense.’

Really?!

So Jerry sent some of his collection to auction, 18 cars in all, and they sold in aggregate for $21 million. They were mostly Porsches. They were real and they were fabulous.
